Crabpilot

Machines that work today.

A ground worker and an air worker, and a bigger ground vehicle on the way. Each one is built to carry a tool and to work as one team, under one station.

UGV1, a four-wheeled metal ground robot, parked on grass

UGV1

Works today

Drives the route you teach it, or one drawn on a map, to the centimetre.

Proven on it

  • Drives a route it was taught
  • Follows a route drawn on a map
  • Comes back home on its own
  • Knows where it is to the centimetre

UAV1

Works today

Flies the job from above and shows you what it sees, for 30 minutes per battery with its camera.

Proven on it

  • Flies missions on its own
  • Flies with the ground vehicle from one station
  • Detects objects in its camera view on board

UGV2

In development

The bigger one: rougher ground, heavier loads, longer trips, on the same software as UGV1.

Built to carry a tool

Each machine is built to carry a tool, and the job decides which. What exists today and what comes next is marked below.

In development

On the farm: spot sprayer, mechanical weeder, soil probe

On an industrial site: thermal camera, sensor kit, cargo box

On a mission: cargo, relay radio, sensor payload

  • UAV1's gimbal camera is the first tool.
  • Switching a tool on or off at a point along a route is the next piece of software we build. In development
  • A standard mount with power and a data link, so one machine takes different tools. Next

Already have machines?

If your machine has an interface we can talk to, we put our companion computer beside it and it joins the same station as UGV1 and UAV1.

Joins today

Works today
  • Drones and ground vehicles on ArduPilot or PX4 join over MAVLink, with our companion computer beside the autopilot.
  • Command runs over IP, so Starlink carries it beyond radio range, as on UGV1.

An integration project

We scope these per machine, with you, before we promise anything.

  • A machine on a CAN bus
  • A proprietary controller with a documented interface
  • Anything else with a way in

Put them to work on your problem.

Bring us a field, a site or a mission. We will show you what the machines would do with it.
